Taking place February 27–28, 2026, A Weekend with Diana Gabaldon will serve as a signature highlight of the statewide First in Freedom Festival and will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge, a pivotal Revolutionary War victory that helped spark North Carolina’s bold call for independence.
